IsoMux

This module is a multiplexer to support switching over between different ISO module implementations. DEPRECATED in 2026.10.0, earliest removal in 2027.04.0: Evse15118D20 runs DIN SPEC 70121, ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20 in one module, so no multiplexer is needed. See the how-to guide “Migrate from EvseV2G and IsoMux to Evse15118D20” for the upgrade path.

Handwritten Documentation

This module multiplexes one PLC interface, SDP server and TLS endpoint between an EvseV2G instance (DIN SPEC 70121, ISO 15118-2) and an Evse15118D20 instance (ISO 15118-20), each running without its own SDP server on the loopback interface.

Warning

Deprecated in 2026.10.0, earliest removal in 2027.04.0. Use Evse15118D20 alone, which negotiates DIN SPEC 70121, ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20 itself, so no multiplexer is needed. See the how-to guide Migrate from EvseV2G and IsoMux to Evse15118D20. The module logs a deprecation warning at startup.

Module Configuration

device: string <optional>
default: “eth0”
Ethernet device used for HLC. Any local interface that has an ipv6 link-local and a MAC addr will work
tls_security: string <optional>
default: “allow”
Controls how to handle encrypted communication
enum:
- prohibit
- allow
- force
tls_key_logging: boolean <optional>
default: False
Enable/Disable the export of TLS session keys (pre-master-secret) during a TLS handshake. This log file can be used to decrypt TLS sessions. Note that this option is for testing and simulation purpose only
tls_timeout: integer <optional>
default: 15000
Set the TLS timeout in ms when establishing a tls connection
proxy_port_iso2: integer <optional>
default: 61341
TCP port of the local ISO2 instance
proxy_port_iso20: integer <optional>
default: 50000
TCP port of the local ISO20 instance
proxy_device: string <optional>
default: “”
Network interface used to reach the local ISO2/ISO20 module instances. When set, the proxy connects to the IPv6 link-local address of this interface. Leave empty to use the default loopback (::1).

Provides

This module implements the ISO15118-2 implementation of an AC or DC charger
This interface is used to share data between ISO15118 and OCPP modules to support the requirements of the OCPP protocol
