13.1.3.1. Module Configuration¶

Interface name for can device
device_address:integer <optional>
default: 0
Device address (as selected on front LED panel)
power_limit_W:number <optional>
default: 30000
Maximum Power Limit in Watt
current_limit_A:number <optional>
default: 100
Maximum Current Limit in Ampere
voltage_limit_V:number <optional>
default: 1000
Maximum Voltage Limit in Volt. Will be limited by series parallel setting as well.
series_parallel_mode:string <optional>
default: “Series”
Select series (300-1000V), parallel (50-500) or automatic switching mode (50-1000). This switches the internal configuration of one module and should not be confused with parallel operation of multiple modules.

discharge_gpio_chip:string <optional>
default: “”
GPIO chip to use to switch external discharge load on and off. An empty string disables discharging. Note that the hardware load must be designed to allow permanent discharge from the highest voltage (e.g. 1000V)
discharge_gpio_line:integer <optional>
default: 0
GPIO line to use to switch discharge load
discharge_gpio_polarity:boolean <optional>
default: True
GPIO polarity, false means active low, true means active high
debug_print_all_telemetry:boolean <optional>
default: False
Read and print all telemetry from the power module. Helpful while debugging.
